New Jersey has released new information regarding its Temporary Disability Insurance (TDI) and Family Leave Insurance (FLI) programs. These values will become effective beginning January 1, 2025.

- New Jersey TDI has re-introduced employee contribution for the program. The employee contribution rate for 2025 will be .23% of an employee’s earnings. The maximum TDI weekly benefit for 2025 is $1,081.

- The New Jersey FLI employee contribution rate will be .33% of an employee’s earnings. The maximum employee contribution rate is $545.82 per year.

Entities who handle TDI and FLI should begin preparations to incorporate the new withholding rates into their payroll procedures.
