The DOL has released a new model CHIP notice for employers to include in their ERISA materials. This new model notice is current as of July 31, 2020. This is a standard, periodic update made by the Department to the CHIP notice and contains no materially new information from the previous document. Employers should replace their outdated CHIP notice with this new notice as soon as possible.
