HSA and HDHP Values Set to Increase for 2021

The IRS has recently released a Notice providing HSA and HDHP increases for the 2021 calendar year:

 

Individual/Self-only HSAs will now have a contribution limit of $3600 (up from $3550 in 2020). Individual/Self-only HDHPs will have a $7000 maximum out-of-pocket (up from $6900 in 2020). The HDHP minimum deductible remains $1400.

 

Family Coverage HSAs will now have a contribution limit of $7200 (up from $7100 in 2020). Family HDHPs will have a maximum out-of-pocket of $14,000 (up from $13,800 in 2020). The HDHP minimum deductible remains $2800.
