IRS Releases Final Employer Reporting Forms for 2020 Plan Year

The IRS has released final 1094-C and 1095-C, 1094-B and 1095-C ACA forms and instructions for the 2020 plan year. Employers will still be required to follow proper ACA guidelines and report on offers of health insurance to employees. Employers who have attempted to use the newly-created Individual Coverage HRAs (ICHRAs) will have to input information related to that on these updated forms. All other information will be identical to the information on last year’s forms.
Forms 1094-C and 1095-C (and related instructions) will be used by applicable large employers (ALEs) to report under Section 6056, as well as for combined Section 6055 and 6056 reporting by ALEs who sponsor self-insured plans. Forms 1094-B and 1095-B (and related instructions) will be used by entities reporting under Section 6055, including self-insured plan sponsors that are not ALEs.
FNA Insurance Services will keep you updated when any further information is made available.
