Federal requirements for employers regarding furnishment of Medicare Part D Notice of Creditable Coverage have a deadline fast approaching. The deadline for annual Medicare Part D Notice of Creditable Coverage for calendar year plans is March 1, 2022.

Employers should be prepared to deliver these required Medicare notices to plan participants/beneficiaries as soon as possible. If the health plan is not calendar year, then the disclosure must be given within 60 days of the beginning of the plan year.
