On March 30, 2021, President Biden signed the PPP Extension Act of 2021. This bill, passed with overwhelming bipartisan support, provides extended relief for small businesses and those eligible for a Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Loan. Specifically, the Act extends the deadline to file an application for a PPP loan from March 31 to May 31, 2021.
